Nature of the Service

This is a private reference site with no government role. It does not store official records and cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, release a person, accept bond, or file a public-record or court document.

The site points readers toward Clark County jail and arrest-record resources, Idaho custody systems, court portals, and optional third-party research tools. Each outside provider controls its own services and results.

Acceptable Use Rules

Use of the site must remain lawful and must not harm other people, the service, or its providers. In particular, you agree that you will not:

• Use the service to violate any law or regulation.
• Use information to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass anyone.
• Rely on site content for employment, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated eligibility decision.
• Attempt to enter accounts, systems, or data without authorization.
• Operate bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools against the site.
• Interfere with access, security, or normal use by other visitors.

No Consumer Reports

Clark County Recent Arrests is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, consumer reports, or screening services, and neither do its advertising partners through this site. By using the service, you agree not to use its content for any FCRA-covered purpose, including:

• Hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment decisions.
• Tenant selection, leases, or housing eligibility.
• Creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance pricing.
• Licensing, permits, or eligibility for a government benefit.
• Any other decision regulated by the FCRA.

Third-Party Links and Tools

Links may lead to jail resources, booking information, sheriff and corrections sites, government portals, legal-aid resources, and outside search services. A link is not an endorsement. Clark County Recent Arrests does not control an outside site's content, privacy practices, data handling, availability, or security. Review that provider's terms and policies before using it.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without promises or warranties. No guarantee is made concerning:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current status of information.
• Continuous or uninterrupted access.
• Freedom from errors, software defects, or security weaknesses.
• The scope or completeness of a partner's search results.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing published here is an official statement from the Clark County Sheriff's Office, Clark County Jail, an Idaho court, or another government agency.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Clark County Recent Arrests and its owners, contributors, and service providers will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from access to, use of, or inability to use the site or an outside resource.

Your Duty to Indemnify

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Clark County Recent Arrests, its owners, contributors, and providers from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the service or your violation of these terms.

Ownership of Site Materials

Text, original graphics, logos, site design, and code belong to Clark County Recent Arrests or its content partners unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, distribute, republish, or modify those materials without prior written permission.

Updates to These Conditions

These terms may be revised at any time. A revised version becomes effective when it is posted here. Continued use after posting means you accept the updated conditions.

Suspension or Loss of Access

Access to all or part of the service may be restricted, suspended, or ended at any time, for any reason, and without advance notice.

Idaho Law Applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Idaho.

If One Term Is Invalid

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
